Do we really need to be “Mardaani”

Mardaani is a latest bollywood flick starring Rani Mukherjee as the lead actress. The movie revolves around human trafficking and child molestation. Rani plays a top notch cop in the movie and she fights like a real hero and saves the girls from being molested and used. The movie was really very well made and it left a long lasting impact, at least on me. I went to watch this movie with two of my friends, and after coming out of the theater I just said the movie was fabulous.

One of my friends seems to be in agreement to it while the other was a little hesitant. His hesitance stuck imagesme there and I asked him why this fleeting reaction. He very strongly responded, why do you want to become “Mardani“. His question stoned me, and I did not speak a word for the next one minute or so.
I asked him to explain what he wanted to say, he simply said women are far too superior and capable than men then why do they want to become mardaani. I would have love if the title of the movie was some Goddess name which represents the women as well as her power and capabilities.
Being a woman, I tried to make him understand by saying that it is just a feminine term for “Mard” (men) for which he said we don’t need such a term we have “Aurat” (woman) for that, I again tried by explaining that men have an edge when it comes to attributes like physical strength and power and with the help of that they take advantage of women. We live in a patriarchal setup where men are the head of the family and they hold the power to run things, which is gradually changing now. So “Mard” (men) are symbolic of very strong and determined individuals in our society. With women stepping up in every field of life they want to be treated like strong and determined individuals too. So instead of any other strong and influencing title the director must have landed up with this name “Mardaani“.
He still does not seemed to be convinced and later I realized I was taking this all a little too on myself as I am a woman too. He sat by my side and explained me again, that you don’t have to do that, you don’t have to become “Mard“(men). The fact that along with all the femininity you can still do everything that a “Mard” does makes you way more ahead and stronger than men. Physical strength is very pity thing you can always work on that, go for some self defense classes and you can kick anyone’s ass. You don’t have to lose the asset of being a woman for that or for that matter even just the name woman.
I seemed to be pretty convinced and yes I too say we don’t need to be “Mardaani

Honesty actually pays

On one very fine day you go to Hajratganj for withdrawing money from ATM, and eventually you find 1000 Rs and an International Debit Card. This happened to me and one of my friends. We were all puzzled and confused and seriously saying we were damm scared. We came back to our office and we talked to our respective near and dear ones. Finally we decided to take a move.

We went to the bank and submitted the Card and 1000 bucks to the branch manager and he praised us allot and he showed us his excellent tracking system. The bank was equipped with full trooph camera systems, that was really well planned and organised. Finally we came back to our offices and told the story to all of our colligue and they were really pepped up and they call the press and finally the press came it took our interview and clicked our pictures. And today we were there in the newspaper, it was so thrilling that i am lacking words. Evrybody was congratulating us on this wise step and we got a letter of appreciation from the highest authority of the deaprtment.

Moral : whenever you are confused do what is right and honest coz honesty always pays

Its not the end of the world..............

Its difficult to face the failure, and when its for the first time its even worse. But, there always exist a "But"(as always) which says hope always lives.I have no grudges with the system or against anybody I am just disappointed with myself not a lot but a bit only. But at the end of the day its about the life which says move on.I am trying to move on and somebody whom I admire a lot said something which was very true. When i told him "sir its perfectly fine and i am ok and moreover its not the end of the world ." .then he replied and said " you are talking about world buddy its not the end of the day" .

That was the time when I realised that a lot is left for me and a lot which is bigger and better for me. It may be obscure for me right now but gradually thing will definitely get lucid for me and one day everything will be propitious for me.

Its life never give up and never loose hope.Give your best and if you dont suceed then definitely that shot was not your best shot.So try and strive for excellence. God will definitely shower his benediction on us. Aham brahmsmai ...........or main hi brahm hu ..............................brahma resides in me .

non smokers and teetotaler still exist

4 out of 5 people are smokers today and 7 out of 10 people are alcoholic today. What is wrong with the youth. The fact that they know the consequence of its intake and still they are taking it makes them illiterate. it is something which is very sad. I feel so sorry when I see boys of hardly 10 or 12 years old with a fag, i wish i could do something for this.

But among this lost audience there are people who have abstain themselves from these bad habits and i seriously respect them. They know their responsibility as an Indian, as an individual and as a family member as well. There family needs them and they are just wasting their lungs for such a shit. I detest smokers for the fact that they burn money in exchange to the deal of hollowing their lungs. It’s my personal view and it will definitely vary from person to person.Well each and every individual on earth has benediction in the form of one pair of his/her personal lungs . He may screw it up anyway he wishes to. The reason why I am writing this in my blog is we stay away from a dog if we suspect him to bite but where does that common sense vanishes when it comes to our own and personal pair of lungs and other body parts.

I feel so great that i know quite a few people who are non smokers and I respect and owe my gratitude towards them that they have set an example in front of me that non smokers and teetotaler still exist

hassled and baffled us

we all were so excited to go to Delhi, or better say dil waloo ki Delhi, specially me i was ready with my shopping list to buy.It was all good untill God blessed all us with chilling cold and fog.Two days we spent in Amity college it was more of a picnic spot than a college.I cudnt see a single child with books in their hands it was all about beautiful girls and handsome boys freaking out with each other.Even i was a party to it, i saw allot of good guys there i mean i really checked thm out. Last day ,the day i waiting i mean the shopping day,and the catastrophe happened train cancelled and we all were really worried that what are we going to do,finally we decided to opt for a bus rather than a train even this decision created allot of hullabaloo as some were not ready to go by train, why?because it could meet an accident rubbish na i know that ..finaly allot of arguments take place n we decided to split ie who wanted to go by bus thay may proceed and who wanted to go by train they may procees all on their own.We almost changed 15 metros to reach Anand vihar and then i came home by bus. people in delhi are so rude and have no manners and sophistication.Lucknow is a better place to live in this trip has actually proved it
